Hallo world,
Today I campaigning for Awesome Africa. I have to say that i do not like the portrayal of Africa in movies. I am born and raised in Africa, Kenya to be exact, I like it... correction, I love it. I did not grow up in an affluent home. Am good with how i was brought up, had a roof over my head and i have to say, our neighbors were not lions! That's just TV lies... and i did learn how to swim in pool and not a river... though I have to admit that i had my share of river swimming, (duf mpararo!) what, it was fun when hanging out with cousins. I went to a good school, not a bush school... i think that the stereotype that African children are dying should be abolished.
Not all African kids are dying. Some are busy throwing away food, instead of raising money and sending it to Africa to help the 'dying children', why not help in the redistribution of food within the continent. Just saying.
And that series Strike Back... you lying ... um, that's not Kenya! We ain't got palm trees in Nairobi, and in case you haven't noticed, every1 in Africa is not pitch black... Just saying.
